For those losers who don't know those songs :
Las Ketchup song was famous when I was .. around 9 years old . It was my jam baby , my jam . I first heard the song with the lyrics when I was on a vacation somewhere in Pulau Pangkor . And the lyrics of the song just kinda .. stuck inside my head until now . And this brings back so much memories , me and Danny danced like crazy to this song in our hotel room . LOL that sounds wrong , Danny is my brother by the way . Why am I even explaining this , you guys are not having any dirty thoughts right ? -___- LOL jk . We were just little kids back then , and looking at how much we've grown through these years is just .. amazing .
And Miraie song . When I was 12 years old , I used to have a N-gage QD . Do you know what that is ? It's a handphone LOLOL . This is the coolest thing ever . I mean , we didn't have I Phone and I pad and Galaxy Tab and all at that time , did we ? . This thing is created for GAMESSS . It's created for us TO PLAY GAMES . Kau faham tak apa maksud dia ? Maksud dia aku cool ah . Kalau aku bawak phone pergi sekolah ( and i was a prefect , tsk tsk . Cikgu , you made a bad decision appointing me as a prefect lol ) , semua budak lelaki beratur nak pinjam . Heh *smug . Serious cool okay , I love this thing too much . And , my abilities to type as fast as a leopard (hyperbola) comes from the excessive amount of texting while I was still using this phone . Oh , kaitan dia dengan lagu Miraie is , I was an anime lover . Ngehehe . I drew anime , I watched anime , I played games , I read comics ( still do ) . Soundtracks of Japanese animes were all over the place in my phone . Including Miraie , which is a soundtrack of Final Destination .
These two songs made me realize that I've grown too much . How many people that I've made friends with , how many places I've set my foot on , how many new songs I've memorized , how many knowledge that I've gained and how many improvements I've achieved since the first time I heard the songs ? Am I a better person than that Dania who is dancing to the Las Ketchup song with her brother ? Am I a better person than that Dania who is obsessing over some goodlooking comic characters ( gotta admit I still do that, but you know what I mean ) ? Or am I better person than that Dania who is busy playing The Sims at her Ngage ? Or are they better than me ?
I think I've made some improvements here and there , but my true identity remains the same . I think , I am better than those in-the-past Dania because I have matured a lil bit now . I can think for myself now . I can differentiate between the do's and dont's , between the rights and wrongs . I know how to dress up properly . I know how to order pizza for delivery . I can pay for my things at the counter by myself . I know how to cook rice and sardine LOLLLL .
But then , I think my in-the-past Dania are better than me in some ways . Probably because they were innocent . INNOCENT . Thats what people all over the world are lacking nowadays . Are you not having the same thought like me , mate ? ( Just cant seem to resist the temptation to talk Britishly , lol ) . In-the-past Dania only knows how to please her parents with her drawings , and if she gets praised , thats just the reward she's been looking for . If her parents bring her to the park , it lightens up her whole day . If her parents buy her ice cream , she will be overwhelmed with joy as she can't eat much ice cream , asthma derrr (sobs) . We only want our parents attention and toys back then . Thats about enough to make us happy . ( Unlike some children nowadays who are immersed in the arus globalisasi and spoiled brats can be found everywhere LOLOLOL )
Of course , we are better than them kids in many ways . But , think again , when you see children passing you by , don't you think they have softer and cleaner hearts than us ?
